Wow, that was exciting. The whole fact that I wasn't even going to go makes me really sad now lol. I'm so lucky to have Chris as a friend since he was the one who talked me back into it....
Anyways, yeah. Big band trip - went to competition up in Gurnee Illinois Friday, and then Saturday went to Six Flags Great America. It was fun... and horrible lol. On Friday, before we left, my mum decided to come and bring my puppy with her or whatever, and he ended up jumping all over my nice dress blouse for competition @.# It was horrible.. I almost cried lol. But it ended up fine, since it washed out almost instantly.
Mr. Grenier didn't have us leave early enough to get there early though... we ended up being on the highway for an hour longer than he thought it would take because of rush hour when we were going through Chicago, and because of all the construction work. So yeah... warm up was 10 mins It was funny but everyone had to pee and we were all hungry and we couldn't do anything until after we preformed. Lots were pissed at our director then lol.
After competition we signed into the hotel. Wow, it was great. Chris and Marcos ordered pizza that night and I was lucky to find Chris so I could eat too... I had no clue that anyone was doing anything, and I hadn't brought a swimsuit for the pool there... so yeah lol. We ate past 10 at night lol
Um... yeah. Saturday was fun. We went to Six Flags and played DDR there and rode Superman! Ack! I love that ride... it makes me drool when I walk past lol. I couldn't ride it then cause my doc says no, i have a bad back... but when Vince takes me Saturday after this one... whee! I'll ride it for sure... lol. I was afraid that it would ruin the trip for me if I rode rides, but I can't pass it up next time ^_- yeah. So I bought myself a fuzzy hat... and made Chris wear it on the way home. Lol I got a good picture of him wearing it. He looks so stupid lol XP
Lots of pics! I think I'll upload them later when I get home. School is maddening since there isn't a port for me to plug in my digi-cam. But I have them all uploaded at home, so I'll have to do that ^.^
